- I agree that the wages are crazy. When I lived in Florida it was 2.09 an hour! Now I work in Iowa and they raised the wage to 4.15 an hour from 3.09 which came out to about a $20.00 difference on my check. I also wanted to comment on Benson's reply.

- I have been a server for about ten years now and I have always enjoyed it for the most part. It's the most flexible job I know of that fits my schedule of a student and single mother.
